Rear side seat belts (combi models) (Peugeot 405)

Removal

1. Unscrew the lower seat belt mounting bolt.

2. Fold down the rear seat.



3. Working in the luggage compartment, unscrew the two screws (A) in the front part of the side decorative cover and the retainer (B) of the seat back.

4. Remove the side trim of the trunk to access the bolt (B) securing the inertia drum (A).

5. Unscrew the inertia drum mounting bolt and remove the drum assembly.

6. Pull the belt through the slot in the rear shelf trim, then remove the seat belt assembly from the vehicle.

Installation

1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

2. Tighten the seat belt buckle mounting bolt very securely.
