Removal



1. Remove the oil pan.

2. Unscrew the three bolts securing the oil pump to the cylinder block.

2. Unscrew the three bolts securing the oil pump to the cylinder block.


3. Remove the pump sprocket from the chain and remove the oil pump.



Examination



1. Check the oil pump sprocket for damage and wear. If the sprocket is worn, replace the pump.

3. Check the clearance of the oil pump gears relative to the supporting surface (maximum 0.05 mm).

4. Check the piston and spring of the safety valve for wear.

5. Clean the oil pump mesh filter.

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
