Examination



1. Check the reliability of the wire connections and the absence of corrosion.

2. Check the condition of the air filter and spark plugs.

3. Check the compression pressure in the engine cylinders.

4. Check the ignition timing setting.

Adjustment



On Fenix and Bosch systems, regulation is not provided. If the idle speed or mixture composition does not correspond to the norm, then the control unit is damaged.

On the Magneti Marelli system, it is possible to regulate the mixture setting and ignition timing. However, regulation can only be done by reprogramming the ECU, using special diagnostic equipment.
