The Peugeot 207 turbodiesel engines use the HDi "Bosch 16 C34" direct fuel injection system (1.6L engines). The 1.6L DV6 series four-cylinder engines are available with or without a diesel particulate filter (FAR).
Removal and installation
It is prohibited to remove and reinstall:
- high pressure fuel sensor in the fuel rail;
- low pressure regulator (1208) on the high pressure fuel pump;
- fuel temperature sensor in the Venturi block.
Electrical circuit
Transferring the fuel injection system ECU from one vehicle to another will result in the engine not starting.
It is prohibited to supply 12 V power to the injector.
High pressure fuel pump "Bosch"
Do not disconnect the following components from the high pressure fuel pump (1):
- high pressure outlet connector "a" (malfunction);
- o-ring seal "B" (reuse of old parts).
Diesel fuel injectors "Bosch"
Caution: Cleaning with diesel fuel or ultrasound is prohibited.
Do not remove the following components from the diesel fuel injector body (2):
- diesel fuel injector "e" (reuse of old parts);
- electromagnetic element "c" (reuse of old parts).
Do not turn the nut "d" (malfunction).
Do not disconnect the "f" connection from the diesel injector.
Cleaning the fuel injector nozzle with calamine is prohibited.
