These errors can be recognized by the annunciator that accompanies them when reading the diagnostic tool error. It may happen that the warning lamp goes out when the engine is stopped and lights up again when it is started (as the error counter increases, the error changes from constant to temporary).
MIL engine diagnostic indicator lights up:
- high pressure fuel pump flow regulator error;
- power error (5V) accelerator pedals;
- power error (5V) high fuel pressure sensor;
- malfunction of the accelerator pedal position sensor;
- high fuel pressure sensor;
- engine temperature sensor error;
- malfunction of the exhaust gas recirculation system;
- pressure regulation error in the common high pressure fuel rail;
- malfunction of diesel fuel injectors;
- malfunction of the relay of pre-start and subsequent heating;
- engine control computer coding error;
- connection error with «weight» block of electric fans for engine cooling;
- communication error between the given measured value of the boost pressure.
High Engine Coolant Temperature Warning Indicator:
- the indicator lights up if the estimated coolant temperature reaches 115°C;
- the indicator goes out if the estimated coolant temperature drops below 117°C;
- the signaling device flashes in case of a break in the electrical circuit of the engine temperature sensor;
- malfunction of the electric fan unit.
