Removal



Mounted outside



1. Raise the rear of the vehicle.

2. Disconnect electrical wires and fuel hoses from the pump.

3. Remove the pump from the rubber cushion belts (A – fuel pump electrical wires, B – fuel supply hoses).

4. Remove the rear seat.

5. Remove the plastic floor covering with a lever to access the pump. The pump is located under the right covering.

7. Mark hoses for identification (indicated by arrows), then loosen the clamps, remove the hoses and plug them with plugs.

8. Make marks on the fuel tank, pump cover and ring, then unscrew the ring by turning it counterclockwise.

9. Lift the pump cover, then carefully remove the fuel pump (drawing on the left) and a rubber O-ring seal (drawing on the right).

Installation



1. The pump is installed in the reverse order of removal.

2. When installing a pump located in the fuel tank, it is necessary to check the condition of the filter and install a new rubber sealing ring.
