Adjusting the accelerator cable (Peugeot 405)

1. Remove the accelerator cable housing fastening bracket, ensuring the correct installation of the drive cam and pull the housing out of the sealing ring until all play is eliminated.

2. Install the mounting bracket on the third groove of the housing, visible in front of the sealing ring. This will ensure the required free play of the accelerator cable.



3. Check that when you press the accelerator pedal, the throttle valve opens completely, and when you release the pedal, it closes completely.
