Fuel burner
Removal and installation
1. Remove air temperature sensor.
2. Loosen the fuel injector union nut.
3. Remove the fuel injector and lower O-ring.
4. When installing the nozzle, the O-ring and the nozzle head must be in good condition. When the nozzle head is properly installed, the nozzle pins (indicated by arrows) join the head clamps as noted "+" And "-" for identification.
Fuel pressure regulator
Removing
1. Relieve pressure in the fuel system.
2. Remove ground wire from battery.
3. Remove air filter cover.
4. Remove the spring and diaphragm, noting their orientation.
5. Remove the regulator cover, after noting its location (the screws for fastening the pressure regulator are indicated by arrows).
Idle control engine
Removing
1. Remove ground wire from battery.
2. Remove the bracket and disconnect the connector from the engine.
3. unscrew the screws (indicated by arrows) and remove the idle control motor.
Throttle position potentiometer
The throttle position potentiometer is a non-separable unit and must be replaced if it fails.
Intake air temperature sensor
Intake air temperature sensor, an integral part of the injector head.
Removing
1. Remove ground wire from battery.
2. Remove air filter.
3. unscrew three screws (indicated by arrows) fixing the plastic ring.
4. Remove the O-ring from the plastic ring.
5. Press the bracket and remove the connector from the injector.
6. Loosen the injector head bolt (indicated by an arrow) and remove it together with the O-ring.
Electronic control device (ecu)
The ECU is located in a plastic box that is mounted behind the battery.
Removing
1. Disconnect battery.
2. Remove the casing from the box, then press the bracket and disconnect the connector.
3. Unscrew the nut and remove the relay from the back of the ECU box.
4. Unscrew the screws and remove the ECU box from the battery platform.
Fuel injection relay
The relay is mounted on the back of the ECU plastic box which is located directly behind the battery.
Crankshaft position sensor
The crankshaft sensor is located on the front side of the gearbox housing.
Removing
1. Disconnect the ground wire from the battery.
2. Route the wiring from the sensor to the wiring connector, and disconnect it from the main harness.
3. Unscrew the mounting bolt and use the lever to remove the sensor from the rubber sealing ring.
Speed sensor
The vehicle speed sensor is an integral part of the speedometer drive.
