The automatic transmission ECU control unit, together with the engine control unit ECU, is located in the ECU box on the right front side of the engine compartment next to the coolant expansion tank.
Removal
1. Turn off the ignition, open the ECU box cover box. The gearbox control unit is located closer to the car wing.
2. Lift the locking lever on the top of the connector and disconnect the connector. Remove the connector at the rear, unhook the latch at the front and remove the ECU from the guide pins.
3. Remove the ECU unit by lifting it upwards.
Installation
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. If a new ECU is installed, a test drive must be carried out under various road conditions so that the control circuit of the unit adapts to the parameters of the gearbox.
