Removal



1. Remove the air filter housing.

2. Set the selector lever to position "P".

3. In the engine compartment, use a lever to remove the ball joint of the cable from the selector lever on the multifunction switch of the transmission.

4. Remove the cable mounting bracket from the gearbox mounting bracket.

5. Remove the central console.

6. Raise the front of the vehicle and support it on stands.

7. Remove the exhaust system and heat shields.

8. Disconnect the cable from all mounting brackets.

9. In the car interior, remove the selector lever illumination and protective covers. Unscrew the nuts securing the selector lever cover to the floor. Remove the selector lever cover together with the cable from under the car.
