Removal
1. Raise the front of the vehicle and support it on stands. Remove the splash shield from under the engine. The speedometer drive is located at the rear of the transmission housing near the inner end of the right drive shaft.
2. Remove the connector from the speedometer drive housing.
3. Unscrew the mounting bolt, remove the heat shield and remove the speedometer drive from the gearbox housing together with the O-ring.
4. If necessary, the speedometer drive gear and sealing ring can be removed from the casing.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
