Front brake disc
1. Jack up the front of the car, place it on jack stands.
2. Remove the corresponding front wheel.
3. Disconnect the wire terminal «masses» (-) from the negative pole of the battery.
4. Unscrew the bolts 3 and disconnect the brake shoe guide 1 together with the caliper from the steering knuckle and hub 2 (see illustration).
3.4 Unscrew the bolts 3 and disconnect the guide 1 of the brake pads together with the caliper from the steering knuckle and the hub 2. The tightening torque of the bolts is 3-110 Nm
5. Move the caliper together with the guide 1 of the brake pads away from the place of work and secure with wire. Be careful not to twist or pinch the brake hose 4 (see illustration).

6. Unscrew the bolts 5 and remove the brake disc 6 (see illustration 3.5).
Rear brake disc
Attention! Starting with engine serial number 90883 598, Peugeot 605 cars are equipped with rear brake discs with an additional hole A. This allows you to adjust the parking brake pads without dismantling the disc. Hole A is closed with a special plug 1 (see illustration 3.0a).

7. Jack up the rear of the car, place it on jack stands. Remove the corresponding rear wheel.
8. Remove the brake pads 1 (see illustration). The procedure is given in the corresponding chapter.

9. Unscrew bolts 2 and remove the brake disc (see illustration 3.8).
