25. Unscrew the expansion tank cap. Considering that the temperature of the coolant is still quite high even after a quarter of an hour, the cap should be removed and a rag placed on it.
26. Allow the air to escape from the tank and only then remove the lid. On most vehicles, the expansion tank cap is located on the top. The exception is vehicles with a 2.0-liter, 16-valve engine. In these cases, the cap is located on the left side of the reservoir when facing the vehicle.
The coolant should be replaced every 120,000 kilometers.
Caution! Add coolant only when the engine is cold.
