Transmission oil dipstick
A - lower marking
B - top marking
The dipstick is located on the front of the engine, just before the engine/gearbox connection. Probe tip for measuring the level of bright color (usually orange) for easy identification.
1. Drive the vehicle for a short time to warm up the transmission to normal operating temperature, then park the vehicle on level ground and check the oil level.
2. When the engine is idling and the automatic transmission selector lever is in position "P" (parking) remove the dipstick from the pipe and wipe off any liquid from the end of the dipstick with a clean rag or paper towel.
3. Insert a clean dipstick back into the pipe as far as it will go, then pull it out again and check the liquid level at the end of the dipstick, which should be between the upper and lower marks (dashes).
4. If the level is low, add the required amount of the specified fluid through the dipstick tube.
Attention! Never allow the fluid level to be above the upper mark.
5. After topping up the gear oil, carry out a test drive to completely distribute the oil and recheck the oil level.
6. Frequent need to add gear oil indicates that there is a leak that needs to be found and repaired.
