1. Walk around the car and lightly lubricate the hood, side door and tailgate hinges with machine oil.
2. Lightly lubricate the hood release mechanism and the exposed section of the cable with grease.
3. Carefully check the reliability of the fastening and the operation of all hinges, latches and locks. Adjust them if necessary. Check the operation of the central locking system ("central locking").
4. Check the condition and operation of the tailgate stop pillars. Replace them if they leak or no longer reliably support the door in the up position.
