Note: Once the battery has been disconnected, the radio/cassette unit cannot be re-activated until the appropriate security code has been entered. Do not remove the unit unless the appropriate code is known
Removal
1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal (refer to "Disconnecting the battery").
2. Using strips of thin metal, make up two suitable tools to the dimensions shown (see illustrations).

Note: These tools can be obtained from your Peugeot dealer, if preferred.
3. Slide the tools between the sides of the radio/cassette player and the facia panel, until the slots in the tools are felt to engage with the radio/cassette player securing clips (see illustration).

4. Push the tools forwards to release the clips, then use the tools to pull the unit from the facia (see illustration).

5. Disconnect the wiring plug and the aerial lead and withdraw the unit (see illustration).

Refitting
6. Reconnect the wiring and the aerial lead to the rear of the unit, then push the wiring into position at the rear of the radio/cassette player aperture. Ensure that the wiring is positioned correctly behind the radio/cassette player, to allow space for the unit to be pushed into position.
7. With the tools engaged with the securing clips, push the unit into position, then pull the tools forwards until the securing clips lock into position.
