Attention! When working on the fuel system, it is necessary to first relieve the pressure in the system.


Removal



1. Before removing the fuel tank, drain all fuel. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fuel pump, as well as the fuel hoses.

2. Raise the rear of the vehicle and support it on stands.

3. Remove the exhaust system and heat shield.

4. Remove the filler pipe (A) and breather (B) from the right side of the fuel tank (C is the vapor…

5. Remove the supply and return hoses on the right side and plug them with plugs.

6. Remove the handbrake cable from its mountings and move it to the side.

7. Support the fuel tank with a jack and unscrew its mount (indicated by the arrow).

8. Slowly lower the fuel tank and remove it from under the vehicle.

Installation



Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. It is necessary to check that none of the hoses are pinched when installing the fuel tank.
