Note: The wiper arms are mounted on their shafts in a very tight fit. Therefore, in order to remove them without causing injury to yourself or damaging the pullers themselves, you will most likely need a puller.

Removal

1. Turn the windshield wiper on and off so that the wiper lever returns to the base position. To ensure proper installation, apply a piece of tape to the glass along the wiper blade. In addition, there is an installation mark on the windshield.

2. Remove the cover from the wiper arm shaft nut, and then unscrew the nut.

3. Lift the wiper blade off the glass and remove the wiper arm from the shaft. If the lever is very tight, use a suitable puller.

Installation

4. Clean and dry the splines in the wiper arm mounting hole and on the shaft, then place the arm on the shaft, aligning the wiper blade with the adhesive tape that was glued to the glass during removal, or with the provided installation marks.

5. Screw on the nut and tighten it securely. Place the cover on the nut (if applicable) and fix it.
