Front suspension



Type — Independent by MacPherson struts, with inclined coil springs and integral shock absorbers. Certain models have anti-roll bar linked to the lower arms or struts (depending on model)

Front ride height:

Models with 145/70 R 13 T tyres:
  • Normal suspension — 140.0 mm
  • Heavy-duty suspension — 185.0 mm
  • Models with 155/70 R 13 T tyres — 146.0 mm

Models with 165/65 R 13 T tyres:
  • Normal suspension — 144.0 mm
  • Heavy-duty suspension — 185.0 mm
  • Models with 175/60 R14 H tyres — 154.0 mm

Rear suspension



Type — Trailing arms with transverse torsion bars and telescopic shock absorbers. Certain models have rear anti-roll bar running through axle tube, linking both trailing arms

Rear ride height:

Models with 145/70 R 13 T tyres:
  • Normal suspension — 135.0 mm
  • Heavy-duty suspension — 179.0 mm
  • Models with 155/70 R 13 T tyres — 143.0 mm

Models with 165/65 R 13 T tyres:
  • Normal suspension — 140.0 mm
  • Heavy-duty suspension — 179.0 mm
  • Models with 175/60 R14 H tyres — 150.0 mm

Steering



Type — Rack-and-pinion, power-assisted on certain models

Front wheel toe setting:
  • 954 cc and 1124 cc engine models — 0.5±0.5 mm (0°4'±4') toe-out
  • All other models — 0.5±0.5 mm (0°4'±4') toe-in
