Engine mount brackets
1 – right bracket, 2 – right elastic cushion, 3 – middle bracket, 4 – left elastic cushion, 5 – lower bracket, 6 – clamp
1. Drain the coolant from the cooling system.
2. Drain the oil from the gearbox and engine.
3. Remove the lower engine bracket clamp (1 - lower engine bracket clamp).
4. Disconnect the exhaust inlet pipe.
5. Disconnect the stabilizer from the levers.
6. Remove the lower suspension arm ball joint from the steering knuckle.
7. Remove the right drive shaft.
8. Remove the left drive shaft from the differential (without removing it from the hub).
9. Remove the battery.
10. Remove the battery bracket together with the fuel filter.
11. Remove the air filter with the housing.
12. On XUD 9 engines, remove the intake plug.
13. In XUD 7TE engines, remove the supercharger radiator and disconnect the horizontal movement limiter from the upper right engine bracket (1 - limiter).
14. Disconnect the connecting element and wires.
15. Remove the power steering servo pump without disconnecting it.
16. Remove the radiator.
17. Use a special lifting device with two hooks. Position the hooks so that the engine is slightly tilted towards the transmission side during lifting.
18. In XUD 7TE engines, remove the travel limiter.
19. Unscrew the upper right engine bracket nut from the elastic cushion.
20. Support the transmission with a jack.
21. Remove the gearbox bracket.
22. Raise the engine and remove the right engine bracket (1 - right bracket nut).
23. Lower the jack and turn the engine clockwise.
24. Remove the engine from the top.
