The oil pump can be accessed from underneath the vehicle after removing the oil pan. Removing and installing the oil pump is described in subsection 3.2.16.
Since October 1990, the heat exchanger has been equipped with special forks that prevent it from rotating, to make it easier to hold during the oil filter removal procedure. This necessitated the manufacture of a special projection on the cylinder block.
During installation of the heat exchanger, the threads must be cleaned (traces of grease removed), covered with the product "Loctite Frenetanch" and tightened to a torque of 60 Nm.
