The oil pump can be accessed from below the vehicle after removing the oil pan. Removal and installation of the oil pump are described in subsection 3.2.16.
Since October 1990, the heat exchanger has been equipped with anti-rotation forks to make it easier to hold during the oil filter removal procedure. This necessitated the manufacture of a special protrusion on the cylinder block.
During the installation of the heat exchanger, the threads must be cleaned (removed traces of grease), coated with "Loctite Frenetanch" and tightened to 60 Nm.
