Table of contents: Left drive shaft 🠇 Right drive shaft 🠇
Clean the drive shaft splines in the hub and gearbox. Apply a thin layer of grease to the sealing ring lips, drive shaft splines and flanges.
Left drive shaft
1. Install the drive shaft into the differential, aligning the splines of the drive shaft with the grooves of the differential axle gears. Insert the drive shaft into the gearbox until it stops.
2. Install the outer end of the drive shaft into the hub.
3. Connect the lower hinge joint to the lever.
4. Install a new articulated joint nut and tighten it to the specified torque. Lubricate the inside and threads of the drive shaft nut with clean engine oil, screw it onto the drive shaft and tighten it to the specified torque. Check that the hub rotates freely, then install the locking washer and secure it with an R-shaped cotter pin.
5. Connect the anti-roll bar to the lower arm and tighten to the specified torque.
6. Install the ABS sensor.
7. Install the wheel, then lower the vehicle to the ground and finally tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
8. Check the gearbox oil level and top up if necessary.
Right drive shaft
1. Check that the intermediate bearing rotates easily and evenly and that there is no play between the outer ring and the inner ring.
2. Apply a thin layer of grease to the outer ring of the intermediate bearing and the inner projection for the dust cover.

3. Insert the inner end of the shaft through the intermediate bearing installation hanger and install the dust cover on the drive shaft.
4. Align the internal splines of the drive shaft with the slots of the differential axle gear, the intermediate bearing with the installation suspension and insert the drive shaft until it stops in the gearbox.
5. Install the outer constant velocity joint into the hub.

6. Check the correct installation of the intermediate bearing, then turn the bolts 90° and secure them in this position with nuts. Cover the intermediate bearing with a dust cover.
7. Connect the lower hinge joint to the lever.
8. Install a new articulated joint nut and tighten it to the specified torque. Lubricate the inside and threads of the drive shaft nut with clean engine oil, screw it onto the drive shaft and tighten it to the specified torque. Check that the hub rotates freely, then install the locking washer and secure it with the R-shaped spring pin.
9. Connect the anti-roll bar to the lower arm and tighten to the specified torque.
10. Install the ABS sensor.
11. Install the wheel, then lower the vehicle to the ground and finally tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
12. Check the gearbox oil level and top up if necessary.
13. Install the lower casing (equipment in some versions).
