Due to the use of a transfer case and the relocation of the differential to the right side of the vehicle, the drive shaft assemblies have a specific design. There is no intermediate bearing on the right side. The removal method is the same for both sides.

Specific recommendations

Left side: Draining the gearbox oil is not necessary.

Right side: The vehicle should be tilted slightly to the left side to prevent oil from leaking out of the transfer case.

In vehicles equipped with anti-lock brakes, the wheel sensor must be disconnected (from the relevant side).

(You can find the original on the page: «www.peugeotbook.ru»)

Perform the same steps as for a front-wheel drive vehicle (right side).

During installation, lubricate the bearing surface of the left half-axle shaft at the gearbox output with Molykote BR2 Plus grease and replace the transfer case output sealing ring on the right side.
