Removing
1. Raise the front of the car and secure it on stands. Remove the front wheels.
2. Remove the anti-roll bars.
3. Unscrew a nut and a bolt of fastening of a back suspension bracket of the engine and a transmission. Remove the nut and bolt securing the suspension to the lower frame. Remove the hanger.
4. Unscrew the nut securing the left lower ball joint to the lower arm and remove the ball joint from the arm. Unscrew the ball joint from the right arm in the same way.
5. Remove the steering gear mounting bolts. Release the power steering pipes and hoses from the mountings on the lower frame.
6. Check that all wires and hoses that were attached to the lower frame are removed from it.
7. Place a jack with a block under the lower frame to hold it when it is removed.
8. Unscrew the 4 bolts securing the lower frame, lower it down and remove it from under the car.
Installation
1. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
2. Consider the following points:
- use new nuts for fastening the wings and ball joints;
- tighten bolts and nuts to the required torque;
- adjust the wheel alignment if necessary.
