Removal



1. Raise the front of the car and secure it on stands. Remove the front wheels.

2. Unscrew the nuts securing the left and right rocker arms to the anti-roll bar.

3. Remove the bolts and nuts securing the stabilizer bar link to the top of the lower frame…


3. Remove the bolts and nuts securing the stabilizer bar link to the top of the lower frame (indicated by the arrow).

4. Remove the stabilizer from under the car.

5. Check the stabilizer for wear and mechanical damage. Pay special attention to the condition of the stabilizer mounting bushings.

Installation



1. Install the rubber bushings onto the stabilizer. Position each bushing on the stabilizer so that the flat surface of the bushing is at the base and the inner washers are properly aligned with the washers on the stabilizer. The slot in the bushing should be toward the rear.



2. Install the stabilizer on the lower frame. Install the mounting clamps so that their ends are correctly located in the lower frame. Secure them with bolts and nuts. Connect the rocker arms to the ends of the stabilizer and tighten the mounting bolts to the required torque.

3. Install new nuts on the rocker arms and tighten them to the specified torque.

4. Install the wheels and lower the vehicle.
