Removing
1. Raise the front of the car and secure it on stands. Remove the corresponding front wheel.
2. Remove the nut and remove the lower ball joint from the lower arm.
3. Unscrew the pivot bolt (indicated by an arrow) front of the lower arm.
4. Unscrew 2 bolts (indicated by arrows) attaching the mounting bushing of the rear of the lower arm to the lower frame.
5. Remove the lower control arm from under the vehicle.
Repair
Replacing the rig's front pivot bushing and rear suspension requires the use of a hydraulic press, bearing puller, and rim. Therefore, this work should be carried out at the TO station.
1. Clean the lower arm from dirt and anti-corrosion coating.
2. Check the lever for cracks, shape distortion or any other defects.
Installation
1. Reinstall the lower arm, insert the front pivot bolt and thread the nut onto it without completely tightening it.
2. Install the rear pivot point bushing and secure it with the bolts to the specified torque.
3. Install the lower steering knuckle ball joint in the lower arm. Tighten the ball joint with a new nut to the specified torque.
4. Install the wheel and lower the car. Rock the car so that all the suspension elements are in place. Finally tighten the lower arm front pivot bolt to the specified torque.
5. If necessary, check the alignment of the front wheels.
