Removal
1. Remove the timing belt.

2. Unscrew the camshaft pulley mounting bolt. To prevent the camshaft from turning, use a special pulley locking tool (or, on 1.9 liter engines, remove the head cover and hold the camshaft from turning with a wrench by the protrusion between the 3rd and 4th cams).
3. Remove the set bolt from the camshaft pulley.

4. Remove the pulley from the camshaft. Remove the woodruff key if necessary. Check the camshaft sealing ring for leaks.
Installation
1. Install the woodruff key into the camshaft groove and camshaft pulley.
2. Screw in the pulley mounting bolt and tighten it to the appropriate torque, having first secured the camshaft from turning.
3. If it was removed, install the head cover.
4. Align the holes in the pulley and front plate and secure with an 8mm bolt.
5. Install the timing belt.
6. Install the timing belt covers.
