The exhaust system is suspended from the body on rubber cushions.
Each section of the exhaust system can be removed separately or after removing the entire exhaust system.
Exhaust pipe
1. To remove the exhaust system, install the car above the inspection hole or lift it on a lift.
2. Unscrew fasteners (indicated by arrows) exhaust pipe to manifold.
3. Unscrew fastenings of a reception exhaust pipe to an intermediate exhaust pipe. Remove the front exhaust pipe along with the O-rings from under the vehicle.
Intermediate exhaust pipe and muffler
1. To remove the exhaust system, install the car above the inspection hole or lift it on a lift.
2. Unscrew the clamping ring bolts and disconnect the intermediate pipe from the front exhaust pipe and the rear exhaust pipe. Some vehicles may have a ground bar attached to the turnbuckle bolt.
3. Disconnect an intermediate pipe from rubber pillows and remove it from under the car.
Rear exhaust pipe and muffler
1. To remove the exhaust system, install the car above the inspection hole or lift it on a lift.
2. Loosen the clamping ring mounting bolt and disconnect the rear exhaust pipe from the intermediate one.
3. Disconnect the rear exhaust pipe from the rubber suspension pads and remove from under the car.
Heat shields
The heat shields are attached to the body and can be removed by removing the corresponding section of the exhaust system.
