1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal from the battery.

2. Move turbocharger hose 2 away from the work area (if provided), as well as the control unit 3 (see illustration).

3. Remove the front right wheel and fender liner.

Attention. The auxiliary drive has a so-called dynamic tensioner that allows not only adjusting the tension of the auxiliary drive belt, but also determining the replacement period.


4. Turn the tensioner roller by inserting the corresponding lever into square 6, move the roller away from the belt, thereby loosening its tension, and carefully remove belt 7 from the pulleys of auxiliary units (see illustration). 7. Install the stop pin "a" with a diameter of 4 mm (see illustration).

8. Loosen the tightening of bolt 2 securing tension roller 3 using a suitable wrench (see illustration 3.7).

9. Move tension roller Z using tool "b" to position A (see arrows in illustration 3.7), moving the roller away from the belt and thereby loosening its tension.

10. Carefully remove the belt from the accessory pulleys.
