13. Fasten the clutch to the flywheel, following the marks made before removal, if the old clutch is being installed.
14. Center the driven disc on the flywheel and pressure plate. This can be done using an appropriate roller or using an old gearbox input shaft. Such centering is necessary so that the input shaft of the gearbox can be installed when assembling the power unit. When tightening the clutch mounting bolts, it is recommended that the centering roller or the old input shaft be removed from time to time to make sure that the driven disk does not jam when the bolts are tightened. The clutch on the flywheel assembly is shown in (illustrations 2.0.)
2.0 Clutch with flywheel
The fastening bolts should be tightened evenly in a cross pattern with a torque of 15-20 Nm. At the same time, the flywheel is locked with a brake shoe or a screwdriver. After installing the clutch, the gearbox is attached to the engine.
Note: Apply a light coat of Molykote BR2 graphite grease to the splines of the driven disc and to the outer surface of the clutch guide before reinstalling the gearbox.
