The rear suspension is independent with wheel suspension on longitudinal arms connected by a beam, with a transverse tie rod, anti-roll bar and telescopic shock absorbers. The rear suspension consists of a cross beam (connector), to which two brackets are attached, the front ends of which are supports for the longitudinal suspension arms; the flanges of the rear wheel axles and the brake shields are attached to the ends of the beam and brackets. Body vibrations are damped by separately installed shock absorbers and coil springs (see illustration 7.0). The rear axle also has an anti-roll bar, which is connected to the body and the rear axle by silent blocks, limiting the angle of the car when turning.

The longitudinal arms of the rear suspension, which are also connected to the body by silent blocks, keep the car body in an upright position.

Shock absorbers connected to the body and rear axle dampen vertical vibrations of the body.

The rear suspension of vehicles with a V-shaped petrol engine ES9J4S is equipped with an additional stabilizer/stiffness bar (see illustration 7.0a).
