6.0. Anti-roll bar and its attachment to the subframe 1 - rubber cushions; 2 - staples; A - this part of the bracket should be facing the front of the car

Please note: We do not recommend removing and installing the anti-roll bar yourself, as this requires dismantling the subframe. As a rule, there is no need to replace the stabilizer during the entire service life of the vehicle.

Removal

1. Jack up the car and place it on jack stands.

Source available on the website: PeugeotBook.ru

2. Remove the subframe

3. Unscrew the nuts that secure the stabilizer bar to the support posts and disconnect the bar. Tightening torque of nuts 55 Nm.

4. Unscrew the nuts and remove the brackets of the rubber cushions that secure the stabilizer bar to the subframe and the cushions themselves and disconnect the stabilizer bar (see illustration 6.0). Tightening torque of nuts: 105 Nm.

Installation

5. Install rubber pads 1 on the stabilizer bar, and then secure it to the subframe with brackets 2, positioning them so that side A faces the front of the vehicle (see illustration 6.0).
