- Check all exterior lights and horn. If any electrical circuit does not work, refer to the relevant paragraph for explanation chapter 12.
4. If any one direction indicator, brake light or headlight does not light up, the corresponding lamp is most likely burned out and must be replaced. For details refer to chapter 12. If both brake lights are not on, this most likely means a malfunction of the brake light switch on the brake pedal (see chapter 9)
- Inspect all accessible electrical connectors, wiring, and clamps. Make sure the fastening is secure, pay attention to the appearance of scuffs and other damage.
2. If more than one indicator lamp or headlight does not light up, this most likely means that either the fuse has blown or the corresponding circuit is faulty (see chapter 12). The main fuses are located under a cover in the front panel on the driver's side...
Tip: To test the brake lights and direction indicators without assistance, park the vehicle with the back against a wall or garage door and depress the brake pedal/turn on the direction indicators. Reflected light will show their serviceability.
3....and in the fuse/relay box in the engine compartment. To replace a blown fuse, remove it from the box using the provided tweezers. Insert a new fuse with the same current rating. Fuses can be purchased at an automotive supply store. Be sure to find the cause of the blown fuse (see «Troubleshooting in electrical circuits» in chapter 12)
