Check 3 (audible signal that the lever must be moved to the «P» position (ignition key lock)

Check 4 (oil temperature too high)

If the oil temperature exceeds the limit value of 118°C: the "Snow" and "Sport" indicators flash. Make sure that the heat exchanger solenoid valve is not shorted to "+".

Read the parameters of the diagnostic device: "Excessively high oil temperature".

Emergency mode:
  • gear shifting at minimum speed and immediate locking of the torque converter
  • the "Sport" and "Snow" indicator lights stop flashing as soon as the temperature becomes < 118°C.

Check 5 (pressure regulation error)

"Sport" and "Snow" indicator lights flash: yes.

There are two possible reasons!:
  • malfunction associated with auto-adaptive values of pressure in the line in the ECU memory;
  • a malfunction associated with an error in the control circuit, i.e. an increase in the difference between the calculated and measured pressure in the line.

Check:
  • oil level;
  • operation of the pressure modulation solenoid valve;
  • oil pressure sensor.

Emergency mode:
  • switching to emergency operating mode!;
  • set line pressure to maximum;
  • open loop control.

Check 6 (lock error - not EVM lock)

The ECU has detected clutch slippage.

Emergency mode: no locking functions when stopped.

Check 7 (launch permission)
