Removal



1. The brake light switch is located on the pedal bracket under the dashboard.

2. Remove the fuse box cover and the lower section of the driver's side fascia.

3. Disconnect the electrical connector, then release the locking ring and unscrew the switch from the pedal bracket.

Installation and adjustment



4. Screw the switch into the support bracket so that the gap between the end of the switch main body and the protrusion on the brake pedal is 2.0-3.0 mm.

5. With the brake light switch correctly positioned, reconnect the electrical connector and test the brake lights. The brake lights should come on after the brake pedal travels approximately 5.0 mm.

6. Once the correct adjustment is achieved, secure the switch with the retaining ring and install the fuse box cover and the lower section of the faceplate.
