1. There are no ignition timing marks on the flywheel or crankshaft pulley. The ignition timing is constantly monitored and regulated by the ECU of the engine management system. Nominal values cannot be set. Therefore, an amateur mechanic has no way to check the ignition.
2. The only way to check the ignition timing is to use special electronic test equipment connected to the electrical connector for diagnostics of the engine management system (for more information refer to chapter 4A).
