Removal



1. The horn is/are located at the lower lefthand or right-hand front corner of the engine compartment, depending on model.

2. Disconnect the battery negative terminal (refer to "Disconnecting the battery").

3. Access to the horn is most easily obtained from under the relevant front wheel arch.

4. If desired to improve access, chock the rear wheels then jack up the front of the vehicle and support it on axle stands (see "Jacking and vehicle support").

5. To further improve access, release the clip securing the front of the wheel arch liner and move the wheel arch liner to expose the horn.

6. Disconnect the horn wiring plug (see illustration).

7. Unscrew the horn securing nut and withdraw the horn from the vehicle.

Refitting



8. Refitting is a reversal of removal.
