Rear suspension and rear axle

Removal



1. Install the vehicle on a stationary lift.

2. Remove the left trunk trim.

3. Disconnect the hydraulic pump power supply connector (red) (wires M326 and 326).

4. Connect the free terminals of the connector next to the suspension up button.

5. Reduce the pressure so that the suspension cylinders can be moved by hand.

6. Remove the axle shaft.

7. Separate the brake line from the connection and from the latch.



8. Remove the suspension cylinder latch and stabilizer flange.

9. Unscrew the lever axle nut and remove the axle.

10. Set the lever to a vertical position and remove it.

Installation



The installation of the lever consists of performing the actions in the reverse order in relation to the removal process, while remembering to lubricate the lever axis along its entire length. It is necessary to install new self-locking nuts, bleed air from the rear brakes and from the suspension circuit, replenish the amount of brake fluid, as well as LHM fluid, to the required levels.
