Replacement of the tank (Peugeot 405)

1. Install the vehicle on a stationary lift.

2. Remove the left trunk trim.

3. Disconnect the hydraulic pump power supply connector (red) (wires M326 and 326).

4. Connect the free terminals of the connector next to the suspension up button.

5. Reduce the pressure so that the suspension cylinders can be moved by hand.

6. Remove the heat shield.

7. Unscrew the tank using a special key.

8. Clean the supporting surface of the tank holder.

9. Install a new seal, lubricated with LHM fluid, onto the tank holder.

10. Screw the tank on, tightening it firmly by hand.

11. Install the heat shield.

12. Connect the connectors correctly (as for normal operation).

13. Remove air from the circuit and replenish the LHM fluid to the required level.
