Front suspension



Type − Independent with shock absorbers, lower wishbones, coil springs and anti-roll bar. Suspension struts and shock absorbers are the defining elements of the suspension. The anti-roll bar is connected by struts to the wishbones and the subframe.


Strut spring - Concentric. Mounted on the shock absorber. It is important to maintain the installation position of the spring.

Anti-roll bar - Connected to the frame cross member by mounting clamps and rubber pads. Connected to the transverse levers by struts.

Anti-roll bar diameter - Varies by model. In the standard version - 25 mm

Installing wheels



Attention! Front wheel alignment must be performed in a workshop. The data below is indicative only. This means that these values depend on the type of engine the vehicle is equipped with, and only the workshop has the appropriate wheel alignment values.


Front wheel camber − 0°±30'

- adjustment − not allowed.

- tolerances − depend on the deformation of the suspension

Longitudinal tilt of the front wheel kingpin - 3°30'±30', non-adjustable

Front wheel kingpin camber 11°28', non-adjustable

Wheel alignment, vehicle unloaded − +1 - +3 mm, positive toe-in

Installation - One turn of the tie rod moves the wheel alignment by approximately 3 mm


Please note: Positive toe-in means that the distance between the front wheels is less than the distance between the same wheels at the rear.




Front wheel hub bearing



Type − Double row ball bearing, pressed into the steering knuckle

Hub bearing clearance − 0 - 0.05 mm

Rear suspension



Type − Independent with wheel suspension on longitudinal arms connected by a beam, with a transverse rod, anti-roll bar and telescopic shock absorbers

Steering



Type − With hydraulic booster, rack and pinion mechanism. Driver and passenger airbags are available upon request

Gear ratio:
  • with hydraulic booster - 15.75:1

Turning radius
  • between curbs - 11.75 m
  • between walls - 12.35 m

Power steering pump:
  • drive - V-belt

Fluid used in power steering:
  • filling volume - 1.7 liters
  • fluid type − transmission fluid for automatic transmissions
  • checking the fluid level in the power steering reservoir - every 15,000 km (vehicles with diesel engines - every 10,000 km)

Tightening torques



Ball joint pin on steering knuckle - 70 Nm

Stabilizer link to wishbone - 85 Nm

Bolts securing the steering knuckle to the shock absorber strut - 110 Nm

Wishbone:
  • front mounting bolts - 110 Nm
  • anti-roll bar mounting bolts - 85 Nm
  • rear arm mounting bolts - 110 Nm

Fastening the strut to the anti-roll bar. - 70 Nm

Shock absorber rod nut, upper strut mount - 90 Nm

Nuts securing the upper shock absorber strut support to the mudguard - 45 Nm

Tie rod end ball joint nuts - 35 Nm

Wheel mounting bolts - 100 Nm

ABS wheel speed sensor (if any) - 10 Nm

Rear suspension



Axle nut - 100 Nm

Wheel mounting bolts - 100 Nm

Upper shock absorber support mount - 90 Nm

Lower shock absorber support mount - 65 Nm

Fastening the anti-roll bar to the body. - 60 Nm



Brake shield to axle - 35 Nm

Steering



Steering mounting bolts - 100 Nm

Tie rod end nuts - 35 Nm

Tie rod end locknuts - 35 Nm

Tie rod lock nut - 40 Nm

Steering coupling tightening bolt - 20 Nm

Steering wheel nut - 35 Nm

Steering column bolts - 20 Nm

Power steering hose nuts - 30 Nm


Drive shafts



Drive shaft nuts - 100 Nm, with an additional 60° turn

Thrust bearing nuts - 10 Nm
