1. Place the gearbox on the workbench.

2. Remove the back cover.

3. Mark the position of the 5th gear synchronizer hub relative to the synchronizer sliding sleeve.

4. Engage 5th gear and remove the 5th gear fork axle.

6. Unscrew the primary shaft nut (12-point open-end wrench 28 mm).

7. Remove the hub-sliding clutch assembly and the 5th gear fork.

8. Remove the ball and spring, then place the sliding sleeve on the hub in the appropriate place.

9. Engage 5th gear and unscrew the secondary shaft nut (12-point open-end wrench 28 mm).

10. To lock the shafts, use the selector to engage two gears simultaneously.

11. Remove the sliding clutch and its hub, the 5th gear pinion, its sleeve and spacer ring.

12. Remove the 5th gear of the secondary shaft.

13. Remove the 1-2 and 3-4 gear fixed axle mounting clip.



14. Unscrew the bearing mounting bolts.

15. Remove the secondary shaft bearing spring ring, unscrew the gearbox housing mounting bolts, and then remove the housing.

19. Engage reverse gear, then remove the axle and reverse gear pinion.

20. Remove the gear assembly together with the forks.

22. Unscrew the three bolts securing the release bearing guide sleeve, remove the adjusting gasket and outer ring.

23. Remove the speedometer drive gear together with the housing, the driver, the round sealing ring and the adjusting gasket.

24. Remove the outer differential housing and then the differential itself. Mark the outer races relative to the bearings.

25. Remove the special selector shaft gasket.

26. Remove the selector pin and the plug covering the axle.

27. Clean the surfaces of the housings.
