Knocking out the pin for fastening the satellite axle
Removal the bearing from the differential box

1. Knock out the pin securing the satellite axle, then remove the axle and satellites.
2. Remove the main gear pinion. Remove the bearings from the differential box, using a universal puller.
3. Replace the bearings with new ones, using the 80317 D tool and a press.
4. Install the gears and then the device that holds the gears from falling out. The figure shows the installation of the satellites with new sliding rings.
5. Install the final drive pinion. The chamfer of the final drive pinion should be on the differential box side. The bolts should be tightened to 65 Nm.
