Sealing rings with casing

Since May 1988, the drive shaft sealing rings in the drive housing have been protected by a "plug-in cover" that prevents the sealing edge of the rings from being cut during installation of the drive shafts. To replace the sealing rings, suitable mounting studs must be used to preserve the ring mounting lugs (modified).

Gearbox BE 3

Since July 1989, the BE 1 gearbox has been replaced by the BE 3 gearbox. This gearbox features a new gearshift pattern, with reverse gear opposite fifth gear, a new housing, special gearshift control and a movable reverse gear pinion with a rotated direction of movement. BE 3 gearbox components cannot be replaced by BE 1 gearbox components (and vice versa).
