Removal the lower frame

The inner pivot bolt of the upper right arm is indicated by the arrow.
Right lever
Removal
To remove the upper right control arm inner pivot bolt, the rear suspension and lower frame must be completely lowered (see picture Removing the lower frame). This must be done at a service station.
Left lever
Removal
1. Raise the rear of the vehicle and secure it on stands. Remove the corresponding rear wheel.
2. Place a jack under the outer end of the lower arm and raise the jack until the spring is slightly compressed.

3. Unscrew the nuts, remove the inner hinge bolts.

4. Remove the nuts, remove the outer pivot bolts and lift the lever out from under the vehicle, releasing it from the handbrake cable mount.
5. Clean the lever from dirt and anti-corrosion coating and check its condition.
Installation
1. Lubricate the pivot bolts with Molykote G Rapide Plus grease.
2. Place the lever in place, insert the pivot bolts and screw the nuts onto them without tightening them completely.
3. Install the wheel and lower the vehicle. Rock the vehicle to ensure all suspension components are in place. Tighten the upper pivot bolt nuts to the specified torque.
