The water pump is driven by a toothed belt. This means that access to the water pump is possible only after removing the timing belt. The gas distribution mechanism is fixed with stop bolts (purchased or self made). And only after that you can remove the water pump from the cylinder block. The location and mounting of the water pump is shown in illustrations 4.0 and 4.0a).
