Removal
Models produced before September 2002.
1. Open and support the hood.
2. Remove the wiper arms as described in chapter 12.
3. Remove the screw securing the right panel of the hood grille.
4. Using a suitable fork-type tool, release the latch at the right end of the panel.
5. Release the clips on the right hood grille panel by turning each one 90°, then remove the right panel.
6. Remove the left panel in the same way.
Models produced after September 2002.
7. Open and support the hood.
8. Remove the windshield wiper arms as described in chapter 12.

9. Remove the screw securing the panel corner to the front fender.
10. Release the clips on the right hood grille panel by turning each one 180°, and then remove the right panel (figure 24.10).

11. Remove the left panel in the same way (figure 24.11).

Installation
12. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
