Front door
Removal
1. Open the door and, where applicable, disconnect the battery negative terminal (refer to "Disconnecting the battery"), before disconnecting the door wiring plug. Twist the locking collar to release the wiring plug (see illustration).

2. Unscrew the two bolts securing the door check strap to the body pillar (see illustration).

3. Support the door either with the aid of an assistant, or using a trolley jack and a block of wood.
4. Using a suitable Torx key or bit, unscrew the door lower hinge pin, then the upper hinge pin (see illustrations). Lift the door from the vehicle.

Refitting
5. Refitting is a reversal of removal, but lightly grease the hinge pins before refitting.
Adjustment
6. No adjustment of the door is possible.
Rear door
7. The procedure is as described previously for the front door, but note that on certain models, it will be necessary to remove the door inner trim panel (see Section 12) in order to disconnect the wiring from the components inside the door (no door wiring connector is used). Note the routing of the wiring, release it from any clips inside the door, then feed the wiring harness through the grommet in the front edge of the door.
