Diesel and petrol engines are equipped with an electric fan unit for engine cooling, controlled by an electronic converter.

The EW10A engine is equipped with a two-speed electric cooling fan unit, so its average power consumption (500 watts) is higher than that of other models.

The electric fan unit is switched on depending on the coolant temperature and control of an adjustable or conventional thermostat.

Note: The command to open the controlled thermostat is determined depending on vehicle speed and intake air temperature, ambient air temperature, engine load and coolant temperature.
