1. The full flow oil filter is located at the front of the timing case, on the right side of the engine.
2. The filter is replaceable and is screwed directly into the threaded bushing in the timing case.
3. Before removing the oil filter, place a suitable container under it to collect the oil. It is best to remove the filter with a belt wrench or chain wrench, but if you do not have a wrench, you can unscrew the filter with a large hose clamp.
4. Wipe the filter seat in the timing case clean and lubricate the seal of the new filter with clean engine oil. Place the seal on the filter and screw it in by hand until the surfaces just touch, then tighten it another 3/4 turn.
5. Start the engine and inspect the filter for leaks, then turn off the engine and add oil to the upper mark on the dipstick.
