1. As mentioned earlier, self-maintenance of CV joints comes down to the most limited operations. For their disassembly and assembly, special equipment is required.
2. We recommend reducing the work with CV joints to their removal, inspection, cleaning and installation. Any repair or bulkhead of CV joints should be entrusted to a specialist.
3. Any evidence of grease leakage from the rubber boot or CV joint housing requires immediate attention. This is dangerous not only because the hinge loses lubrication, but also because dirt can get into it. You must either take the machine to a workshop for repair immediately, or remove the drive shaft and take it to a workshop.
